Play Groups
Children learn best through play, and play for each child looks different. We arrange for inclusive, safe play opportunities for all kinds of little minds and bodies to gather here in our community. These play sessions are guided by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help facilitate social interactions and provide a language-enriched play session.
We advocate for an inclusive society and encourage opportunities for families to connect.

Family Consultation
Parents and guardians are the experts of their little ones. The most important thing we can do as clinicians is provide guidance and consultation for carry-over of therapy techniques in the home.
School Services
Professional Development Neurodiversity in the Schools
We provide educator training in order to create a more neurodiverse-affirming educational setting for the diverse student body schools serve. Topics include:
Neurodiversity education
Shifting perspective in order to create a safer and more inclusive educational environment
Classroom strategies and accommodations
Optional add-on of school-wide student education on Neurodiversity.

Pacific Grove Speech Therapy began with the idea of providing neurodiverse-affirming speech and language therapy to the Monterey Bay community. We value embracing all neurotypes, and fostering confidence and self-advocacy in our clients using evidence-based practices.
We are here to help remove barriers and support both our clients and their families. From tackling barriers related to an experienced communication disorder, to tackling societal barriers by educating others, we look forward to serving you and the community.
